After 4 years I have managed to "unlock" my blog! It took me 2 days to re-read my past...WOW! A lot of change has taken place since the day I decided to create this blog! So much to share...I don't know where to begin, honestly! I think I will start with the beginning...before the beginning...whenever that is?

But first, I will start with something somewhere in between: A few weeks ago, I had contacted a friend of mine who I had not talked within about a year! We did some "ketchup"...I talked his ear off, and he was very patient with my chatter! He said to me, "Do you realize that ever since I have known you (4 years) that you have been talking about the same things?" I paused and then burst out laughing! HE WAS RIGHT! He then added, in between our chuckles, "Yeah, not much new to put on the table..." I burst out laughing AGAIN! Boy, he is a Saint for putting up with me...and I told him that! Poor guy...having to listen to the same conversation over and over for 4 years...what a nightmare! No wonder his voice quivered when he picked up the phone! Pure torture! Ha! I don't know, though...?...could be the perfect conversation for someone who is busy and really doesn't have the time to talk, but doesn't want to be rude at the same time! All that person would have to do is put the phone down and continue doing whatever it was they were doing before picking up the phone, and let the other person chatter away about the same thing they have chattered about for 4 years! Huh...now that I think about it...he did mention that he was building a fence...and seemed out of breath between pauses? He was an exceptional listener too, more so than the usual ear...and...that faint hammering noise in the background...?? Hmmmm! Oh well, the point being...as I re-read this blog...I AM STILL talking about doing the same things! OMG! Am I living in the twilight zone??? What's the name of that movie....um...YES! Groundhog Day, with Bill Murray! That appears to be my life! I should watch that movie...again! HeeHee! Really, I think I will...but in the meantime, I will sit and daydream about the waterfront property posted at the top and ponder...*smile*

In all Fairness...even though I have been talking/doing the same things all these years, I have managed to do them in 3 different states...and with 3 different "Baby Daddy's"...at different stages of my life called, "starting over, again"...that's gotta count for something? Right? Especially the "3 different Baby Daddy's" part! I have been busy! Either or, I love my friend and I am not sure, but I THINK he might have opened my eyes to something? I do know that it is time to change some things...mostly my environment (hence the photograph)! It HAS been stagnant for 18 years (I will spare you the details)! I also think its time to do some of these things I have only talked about doing...things that I have been talking about in this blog for the last 6 years...repeatedly...! I do not expect you to know which are which! Funny thing, I have a sign that hangs on my wall...it reads,"After all that has been said and done, more is said than done!" Hmmm...hindsight can be humiliating! But wait...have I fallen victim to my very own sign? WHAT? Nooooo! Wow...what an awakening! So, what is my answer to falling into victimization? Drum roll...YES...I have fallen, but only partially! More like kneeling? 

The truth is, I have worked my ass off for 31 years! I haven't stopped! I have moved and settled (over and over), built and re-built...I have loved, and I mean hard...I have survived and I am damn proud of it! Career? Oh, ok...so you are one of those types who believes what one does for a living defines them? No problem, let me introduce myself...I have done landscaping, greenhouse, plant leasing...construction...shit jobs, fun jobs...retail, photography...gas station clerk, newspaper girl, prostitution...just kidding...lol...pet sitter...Management...Oh, and I was a "Professional Organizer" for UAB for 5 years! Ewww...betcha' didn't see THAT one coming? *wink* I have done IT ALLLLL...But, my real job has been Motherhood...definitely, my favorite "career" choice out of all mentioned, hands down...and yes, it defines me in a big way, though not completely! To me, what "defines someone" is what life lessons they will carry with them into their next life! I have learned a lot more about my self, life and purpose while "growing" my children...much more than I ever did sitting behind a desk! "Desk jobs" are where I learned about PEOPLE...that's a whole different subject! But, in a cliff-note version...I won't be taking ((people)) with me when I croak! That would be creeeepyyy dontcha' think? Ha!

Um, that last paragraph has absolutely nothing to do with the sign I have hanging on my wall...FYI...but apparently I had the need to spill it out of mee brain, so there you have it! Okay, so back to "more has been said than done"...got it! CHANGE OF ENVIRONMENT...yes! The picture!!! My goal! It has been 9 months since I started writing this, and during that time I have diligently worked towards changing my environment! I bit the bullet (so to speak), took out a loan against my house and have slowly but surely made MOST of the improvements needed to put my house on the market! I am shooting for Spring 2017...just around the corner! I can finally see the light! I have been wanting to do this for 20 years! I think I can finally say it's actually going to happen!? Once I sell my house...the crazy wonderful begins and I can't WAIT to write about it as it happens! I promise you, it will be the "change" I desire...along with waterfront!! Exciting! But, I could not have done it without my Man! I know...I wrote in an earlier post NOT to talk about my relationships on here because things change and when that happens, it can leave you with a lot of editing afterward...lol...sounds horrible, but so true! Anyway, I am going to have to break that rule! You will understand in time...*smile*
